Plastic Recycling Plant

Recycling of used plastics into granules and flakes, with a special focus on LDPE (low-density polyethylene film), HDPE (high-density polyethylene plastic), and PP (polypropylene), including packaging for food, agriculture, construction materials, as well as materials from the automotive industry.

Plastic recycling

Opened in 2023, the ‘CleanR Industry’ plastic recycling plant is one of the most modern facilities in the Baltics, meeting the strictest environmental protection standards.

Now, in Latvia, it is possible to recycle polystyrene, commonly seen in yogurt containers, children’s toys, dishes, and lighting elements, as well as ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resins) and its composites—plastics frequently used in the manufacturing of automotive parts and interior components (panels, shields, window frames, mirror housings, etc.).

The plant specializes in recycling LDPE (low-density polyethylene film), HDPE (high-density polyethylene plastic), and PP (polypropylene), including packaging for food, agriculture, construction materials, and automotive industry materials. These include various bags, fruit crates, big-bag sacks, hygiene and household chemical packaging, barrels, and plastic elements for vehicles.

Technology – exceptionally clean and high-quality recycled material

The plant features production lines from leading industry brands, and the technologies used in its construction and setup meet the strictest environmental and occupational safety standards.

The technological process includes a five-step washing of the recyclable material, followed by extrusion. The result is an exceptionally clean recycled product that can be reused for the production of high-quality goods.

The ‘CleanR Industry’ plastic recycling plant produces HDPE flakes and granules, as well as LDPE and PP granules.

HDPE flakes

Obtained by recycling waste containers. Intended for the production of various types of pipes, new cans, and bottles.

HDPE granules

Obtained by recycling hard plastics, such as cans and bottles. Intended for the production of bottles, cans, and flower pots.

LDPE natural granules

Extrusion material intended for polyethylene film blowing. It is obtained from transparent film and used packaging bags.

LDPE MIX granules

Extrusion material intended for polyethylene film blowing. It is obtained from dark-colored film and used packaging bags.

PP B granules

Obtained from used polypropylene “big-bag” sacks. Intended for the production of various buckets, lids, baskets, flower pots, straps, and other materials.
